Job summary

Intrepid Control Systems is seeking a Test Systems Engineer to build end-to-end manufacturing test systems across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to improve testability and reliability.

Responsibilities include designing EOL test systems using Python and Rust, interfacing with CAN/LIN/UART/Ethernet, and building user interfaces with PySide6. You will contribute to continuous integration and data traceability of test results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on coding experience with production-grade software beyond scripting.
• 3+ years of Python development (advanced proficiency).
• 3+ years of experience in C / C++.
• Rust experience preferred (Axum).
• 3+ years of HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Schematic proficiency (Altium preferred).
• Experience with CAN, LIN, UART, Ethernet protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop End-of-Line test systems interfacing with devices via CAN/LIN/UART/Ethernet.
• Write, debug, and maintain production-quality code across multiple languages (Python, C/C++, Rust).
• Collaborate with hardware teams on PCBA testability and schematic reviews (Altium).
• Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using PySide6 for technicians.
• Build back-end systems using Rust (Axum) and REST APIs for traceability of test results.
• Debug and support core libraries, optimize system performance and reliability.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot End-of-Line software, and improve station uptime.
