Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Software Manufacturing Test Engineer to design, implement, and maintain production software that directly tests complex hardware systems on the factory floor. You will build PLC‑driven control software, simulate environments, and ensure test coverage across PCBA and full‑system levels while collaborating with hardware and firmware teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in hardware test automation, strong Python and C# skills, and experience with MES integration,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 3+ years in software manufacturing test engineering or equivalent with hardware test automation focus.
• Strong Python production coding for hardware test automation and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Own software manufacturing test activities in production, ensuring uptime and throughput.
• Develop PLC‑integrated station control software and manage controller tag exports.
• Build hardware‑free simulation environments for regression testing.
• Design and maintain production test suites in Python and C# for control and UI.
• Integrate test applications with sensors, DAQs, power supplies, electronic loads, and vehicle compute hardware.
• Troubleshoot and perform RCCA on hardware-software issues on the line.
