Job summary

Daikin Applied in Faribault is hiring for a second-shift technician to operate test stands, adjust controls, and troubleshoot unit performance in a climate-controlled facility.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, documenting test results, and training new team members while maintaining 5S and safety standards throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigeration certificate or equivalent education approved by the company.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints for assembly and testing.
• Skilled with hand tools and test software as needed.
• Able to follow safety rules and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Connect and operate test stand units and adjust controls to meet specs.
• Identify safe testing amperage/voltage and read electrical schematics.
• Document test results and troubleshoot unit performance issues.
• Train new team members on machines and safe work practices.
• Maintain 5S in the work area and follow HOMESafe guidelines.
• Read blueprints or specs to determine fabrication and assembly steps.
