Job summary

INDIAN RIVER STATE COLLEGE seeks a Test Proctor to support student testing services, maintain testing security, assist with scheduling, and manage confidential records. The role emphasizes organization, accuracy, integrity, and service excellence.

Under supervision, you will prepare the testing room, verify IDs, seat examinees, monitor sessions, and handle test materials; you’ll schedule CASAS/TABE assessments and maintain department files in accordance with privacy policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of related work experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Computer literate with keyboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the testing room and monitors students during test sessions to ensure a secure testing environment. (50%)
• Schedules clients for CASAS/TABE assessments and facilitation appointments. (20%)
• Contacts students for test scheduling. (10%)
• Maintains department files and records following confidentiality policies. (10%)
• Inputs student applications, CASAS/TABE scores, and related forms into the College’s registration system. (5%)
• Completes all other duties as assigned. (5%)
