Job summary

Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences invites applications for a Test Proctor in the Center for Educational Enhancement to support student success in a fair, secure testing environment.

You will proctor exams, verify identities, apply accommodations, coordinate with testing staff, and prepare materials using Adobe PDF and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in education, social work, or related field preferred.

• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills while maintaining integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Proctor exams and ensure exam integrity is maintained and students are receiving the correct accommodations.
• Adhere to multiple testing protocols dependent on the program in which a student is enrolled and the accommodations a student receives, including verifying student identity, following rules for allowable items, and allowing appropriate breaks.
• Collaborate with other testing officials about details of exams when needed, as well as plan the use of Academic Support testing rooms.
• Assist with preparation of daily testing instructions and materials.
• Create, save, and use files in Adobe PDF and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
