Job summary

Tutor Me Education is recruiting Test-Prep Tutors to provide 1:1 and small group virtual instruction to students nationwide. You can build a schedule around your life, set your hourly rate, and engage with families about progress and readiness.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, experience with diverse learners, and strong virtual teaching skills. PT-friendly timing may apply as many assignments operate in Pacific Time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience working with students who have education needs.
• Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations.
• Strong virtual instruction skills—comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, individualized virtual instruction tailored to each student's target score, baseline performance, and specific test-taking strengths and weaknesses.
• Create structured lesson plans and timeline strategies that align with upcoming exam dates (SAT, ACT, AP exams, ISEE/SSAT, GRE) and student pacing needs.
• Adapt instruction in real time based on student questions, practice test performance, and gaps in understanding.
• Track student progress through diagnostic metrics and communicate with families regarding score growth, homework completion, and test readiness.

Tutor Me Education is reshaping how students learn, and we're looking for experienced Test-Prep Tutors to provide 1:1 and small group virtual instruction to students across the country. What you'll do:

• Deliver engaging, individualized virtual instruction tailored to each student's target score, baseline performance, and specific test‑taking strengths and weaknesses
• Create structured lesson plans and timeline strategies that align with upcoming exam dates (such as the SAT, ACT, AP exams, ISEE/SSAT, or GRE) and specific student pacing needs
• Adapt instruction in real time based on student questions, practice test performance, and conceptual gaps, emphasizing both content mastery and time‑management strategies
• Track student progress through diagnostic metrics and communicate effectively with families regarding score growth, homework completion, and official test readiness

Note: Many of our assignments operate in Pacific Time, so availability during PT hours is a plus.
