Job summary

Tutor Me Education is recruiting Test-Prep Tutors to provide 1:1 and small group virtual instruction to students nationwide. You can build a schedule around your life, set your hourly rate, and engage with families about progress and readiness.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, experience with diverse learners, and strong virtual teaching skills. PT-friendly timing may apply as many assignments operate in Pacific Time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience working with students who have education needs.
• Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations.
• Strong virtual instruction skills—comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, individualized virtual instruction tailored to each student's target score, baseline performance, and specific test-taking strengths and weaknesses.
• Create structured lesson plans and timeline strategies that align with upcoming exam dates (SAT, ACT, AP exams, ISEE/SSAT, GRE) and student pacing needs.
• Adapt instruction in real time based on student questions, practice test performance, and gaps in understanding.
• Track student progress through diagnostic metrics and communicate with families regarding score growth, homework completion, and test readiness.
