Job summary
Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis seeks a Test Instrumentation Engineer – Technical Specialist to lead instrumentation design, program management, and sensor development for flagship engine programs. You will oversee measurement technology ownership and coordinate with the instrumentation lab, assembly floor, and engine test teams.
Candidates have a Bachelor’s or higher in Engineering with 5+ years in technical roles and must be able to obtain security clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience in technical roles; or Master’s with 3+ years; or PhD.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain US security clearance (USA Citizenship required).
- Instrumentation and measurement equipment experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Establish test instrumentation plan within program requirements for sensor implementation.
- Communicate test instrumentation progress and plans to programs as required.
- Own test instrumentation design, development, and measurement technology ownership.
