Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Test and Measurement Software Engineer to join our Indianapolis onsite team. You’ll develop and maintain Data Acquisition System (DAS) and related test software to support verification of turbine products, collaborating with engineers across subsystems to meet certification deadlines.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in C or C++, a solid grasp of Linux, and strong analytical and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to identify problems and scope tasks.
• Experience in C or C++.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop in-house Data Acquisition System (DAS) and Universal Monitor and Control System (UMACS).
• Interface UMACS to external devices such as in-house data systems and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Provide support for Gas Turbine and Component Test Stands.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
• Apply technical principles to develop solutions to complex problems.
• Represent the company to external stakeholders as the authority of their test programs.
