SPX Technologies is hiring a Test Equipment Technician II to support engineering and lab operations. You will build, maintain, and troubleshoot test equipment, interpret drawings, and ensure reliable data collection to support product development.

Role requires reading engineering drawings, performing calibration, and maintaining equipment readiness in a fast-paced lab environment. Onsite in Indiana with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical or electrical test equipment in manufacturing, lab, or engineering.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to equipment and systems.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and testing methods.
• Ability to work under general supervision while managing tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications for data entry, documentation, and test reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, modify, and validate test equipment per blueprints and drawings.
• Set up test equipment and product assemblies to evaluate performance under varying conditions.
• Review test results with engineering to identify and resolve issues or incomplete data.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment to ensure readiness.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment.
