Job summary

SPX Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Engineer Technician to perform laboratory testing and data analysis for heat exchanger components and systems in our HVAC Cooling group.

You will set up tests, calibrate equipment, collect and analyze data, and prepare summary reports while maintaining compliance with standards. The role also supports purchasing, facility maintenance, and environmental/safety tasks, with opportunities to train and mentor technicians and engage with customers during

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or industrial technology.
• Experience reading blueprints and technical documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory testing, prototyping, and data management following established procedures.
• Set up, calibrate, and verify instrumentation accuracy during tests.
• Document test processes and prepare data for engineering review.
