Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies is a leader in industrial HVAC equipment. As an Engineer Technician, you will conduct laboratory testing for heat exchanger components and systems, set up and calibrate test equipment, collect data, and prepare summary reports for engineering review.

You will also support purchasing, facility maintenance, safety functions, and field testing activities while mentoring technicians and engaging with customers during evaluations.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing for heat exchanger components and systems.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate test equipment; collect and analyze data.
• Prepare summary reports and troubleshoot issues during testing.
• Support purchasing activities and facility maintenance.
• Assist with environmental, safety, and maintenance functions.
• Train and mentor technicians; interact with customers during evaluations.
