Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking and onsite-focused technician to monitor, locate, and manage test equipment across multiple locations. You will handle inventory control, distribution to customer sites, and procurement of new or used gear.

The role requires a HS Diploma with 2 years of related experience, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Staff work primarily onsite with potential travel to local buildings.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS Diploma and AA/AS with 2 years of relevant experience.
• A valid driver's license is required for travel between local buildings and offsite locations.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. when handling test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, locate, and schedule movement of test equipment and perform periodic inventories.
• Retrieve and distribute existing test equipment to customer locations based on demand.
• Assist internal customers with procurement of new and pre-owned test equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Manage multiple tasks for multiple internal customers simultaneously.
• Coordinate shipping for external calibration and repair services of test equipment with Procurement Specialists.
• Track Government Owned Property and ensure compliance with government regulations.
