Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Electronics Technician at our Phoenix MRO to test and troubleshoot electronic units for aircraft; you will read schematics, set up test stands, and interpret technical data to ensure units meet specifications.

The role requires HS diploma or GED and experience with multimeters/oscilloscopes; on-site work with potential weekend coverage and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or GED) required or equivalent, with minor/technical training preferred.
• Experience reading or interpreting schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings.
• Experience with using multimeters or oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Test a variety of electronic units using prescribed procedures.
• Set up and operate test stands and configure equipment for special tests.
• Read and interpret technical data such as maintenance manuals, prints, and schematics.
• Record and communicate test results and issues to the team.
• Identify and isolate test equipment failures and troubleshoot to sub-assembly level.
