Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience designing and executing test cases for C&I PCS and ESS.
• Experience in functional testing, verification, and validation of hardware and embedded software.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, power conversion, and energy storage technologies.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, and automated test systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis, documentation of test results, and communicating findings to cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting and manage multiple test activities with safety focus.

Role Description

The Test Engineer C&I PCS and ESS is a full‑time hybrid role based in Dallas, TX, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the schedule. In this position, the engineer plans, designs, and executes test procedures for power conversion systems and energy storage solutions, ensuring that products meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include creating and maintaining test cases, performing functional and reliability testing, documenting test results, and collaborating with design, firmware, and product teams to resolve issues. The role also involves setting up and maintaining test environments, using test equipment and tools, analyzing data to identify trends and defects, and contributing to continuous improvement of test methodologies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Test Engineering background with hands‑on experience in C&I PCS and ESS or related power electronics systems.
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain Test Cases and Test Execution procedures for functional and system‑level Testing.
• Experience performing Functional Testing, verification, and validation of hardware and embedded software in an engineering environment.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, power conversion, and energy storage technologies.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, and automated test systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis, documentation of test results, and communication of findings to cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, manage multiple test activities, and collaborate with colleagues in a safety‑focused environment.
