Job summary

B4Corp is seeking a Test Engineer in Bethesda, MD, to provide Agile DevOps support for mission-critical systems. The role emphasizes automation, scripting (Python), and test-case development within a SAFe Agile/DevOps environment.

A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required to qualify for this position. The engineer will collaborate with the team to automate tests, develop validation scripts, and support performance testing.

Qualifications

• Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with a polygraph is required.
• BS degree with 12-15 years of experience or MS with 10-14 years of experience.
• Significant experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) to automate tasks.
• Experience with test data/script development and software performance testing practices.
• Experience in SAFe Agile/DevOps environments and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Ability to create, execute, and document test cases in an agile cadence.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile software development initiatives to support testing of new features.
• Collaborate with Scrum Master, Product Owner, and developers to plan testing efforts.
• Develop automated test cases and validation scripts using Python, Selenium, and Katalon Studio.
• Leverage DevOps practices to maintain repeatability and configuration management of tests.
• Create end-to-end test narratives and document test results in Jira/Confluence.
• Support performance testing using JMeter and test data generation.
