Job summary

B4Corp is seeking a Test Engineer in Bethesda, MD to provide hands-on testing and automation support for mission-critical systems. The role emphasizes software development to implement scripts, evaluate results, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborative work style to execute test cases alongside development efforts

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• MS degree with 15-20 years of experience or 13+ years of experience in lieu of degree

Responsibilities

• Participate in program Agile software development initiatives to support testing and functionality
• Assess story points/complexity for proper testing and acceptance criteria
• Develop test approaches focusing on automation of regression tests
• Develop test validation scripts using program languages (e.g., Python)
• Create automated test cases for GUI/COTS apps (e.g., Selenium, Katalon)
• Maintain repeatable DevOps processes for test scripts and CM
• Document end-to-end test narratives in JIRA/Confluence
• Generate test data and identify corner cases for user stories
• Support performance testing using tools like JMeter
• Perform duties within commercial cloud development environments
