Job summary

B4Corp is seeking a Tester in Bethesda, MD, with a Top Secret/SCI clearance and a focus on automated testing within a SAFe DevSecOps pipeline. You will design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure software quality in a commercial cloud environment.

The role emphasizes implementing automated testing strategies, mentoring engineers, and collaborating across Scrum teams to improve test coverage and release velocity.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in software quality assurance with a significant focus on automation testing.
• Extensive experience with creation, authoring, execution and documentation of test cases for software products in an agile cadence.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience in designing and implementing robust automation frameworks using Selenium or Katalon Studio.
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub).
• Direct experience with software performance testing practices.
• Experience with Commercial Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS) and SAFe Agile/DevOps environments.
• Master’s 15+ years of relevant experience; degree may be waived for extensive experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect automated testing solutions and maintain the test automation framework.
• Drive test automation best practices and coding standards across the org.
• Mentor junior/mid-level test engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate on Agile software development initiatives to enhance applications in a cloud environment.
• Assess StoryPoint/complexity and ensure testing aligns with acceptance criteria.
• Develop automated test cases for GUI/COTS products (e.g., Selenium, Katalon Studio).
• Document end-to-end test narratives and support performance testing with JMeter.
