Job summary

B4Corp is seeking a Senior Test Engineer in Bethesda, MD to design, develop, and execute automated tests within a CI/CD pipeline in a commercial cloud environment. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities include building automated tests, collaborating with Scrum roles, and improving test automation and performance testing while aligning with DevOps practices. On-site role with core hours 9am–4pm.

Qualifications

Experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation testing.
Experience creating, authoring, executing and documenting test cases and results in agile cadence.
Experience using automation frameworks and tools like Selenium or Katalon Studio.
Familiarity in writing efficient and scalable test scripts.
Direct experience with software performance testing practices.
Experience with Commercial Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS) and DevOps tools in SAFe/DevOps environments.
BS degree with 8–12 years or Master’s 6–10 years; experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

Participate in Agile software development initiatives to support testing of applications in a commercial cloud.
Assess StoryPoint/complexity to ensure testing and delivery per User Story Acceptance Criteria.
Collaborate to develop test approaches with emphasis on automation of recurring/regression tests.
Develop automated test cases using GUI/COTS products such as Selenium and Katalon Studio.
Leverage DevOps practices to ensure repeatability and configuration management of test scripts.
Document end-to-end functionality test narratives and support performance testing using JMeter.
