Job summary

B4Corp is seeking a Test Engineer in Bethesda, MD to develop and execute automated tests within a SAFe Agile DevSecOps framework. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and involves software development to implement scripts, evaluate results, and continually improve CI/CD test automation.

The candidate will participate in Agile planning, develop automated tests (Python, Selenium, Katalon), and contribute to performance testing in AWS cloud environments, collaborating with Scrum

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with a Polygraph is required.
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python) to automate tasks.
• Experience in test data and script development.
• Ability to test both front-end and back-end applications processes.
• Experience with software performance testing practices.
• Strong experience with Agile and SAFe DevSecOps in cloud environments (AWS).
• Experience creating, authoring, executing and documenting test cases in an Agile cadence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated testing scripts as part of a SAFe Agile DevSecOps pipeline.
• Develop test validation scripts using languages such as Python.
• Create automated test cases for applications using Selenium and Katalon Studio.
• Leverage DevOps practices to ensure repeatability and configuration management of test scripts.
• Document end-to-end test case narratives in Jira/Confluence.
• Support performance testing activities using tools like JMeter.
• Collaborate with team to assess Story Point / complexity against acceptance criteria.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (standup, planning, increment planning) to enhance testing outcomes.
