Blue Origin in Texas seeks a Test Engineer for the Vacuum Engine Experiment stand (VEEx). You will support planning and execution of tests on heat exchangers, hydraulic pumps, propulsion components, and other hardware for spaceflight programs.

The role requires a BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 2+ years in testing, data analysis skills, and the ability to lead projects and work independently. Occasional field work and rigorous safety culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2+ years testing experience.
• 2+ years executing test procedures.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Ability to lead projects and work independently.
• Strong fundamentals in fluids and thermodynamics.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering standards and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with test planning and execution at VEEx.
• Identify risks and mitigate them during campaigns.
• Integrate test articles and sub-assemblies.
• Review test data and perform performance analysis.
