Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Texas seeks an engineer to develop, operate, and maintain the XEEx test facility for liquid rocket engines. You will work hands-on with high pressure gas systems and cryogenic fluids, helping sustain an ambitious test cadence.

You bring a BS in engineering, 2+ years in a testing environment, and strong data analysis, with knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics, plus project leadership and clear communication.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years in a testing environment or related hands-on engineering role.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
• Project management and leadership abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop, construct, operate, and maintain test facilities.
• Create and implement test procedures for high pressure gas and cryogenic systems.
• Review test data to assess facility health and performance.
• Specify and procure components; manage vendors and subcontractors.
• Plan facility maintenance and expansion of capabilities.
• Support schedule, quality, cost, and process safety management.
