Blue Origin Operations in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to sustain hardware, support facility upgrades, and ensure safe, repeatable operations for spaceflight testing. You will lead maintenance planning, troubleshoot complex systems, and drive continuous improvements across propulsion test facilities.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Experience in test, propulsion, industrial, energy, or hardware-rich environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering standards and drawings.
• Safety-first mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Write maintenance work instructions for test facility hardware and components.
• Define preventative maintenance for test facility hardware and support equipment.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Support functional testing of components using high-pressure pneumatics, cryogenics, or hydraulics.
• Coordinate with vendors for preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Contribute to risk assessments and ensure safety documentation compliance.
