Echodyne seeks a TEST ENGINEER II to advance off-radar software testing across web apps and APIs. You will design test strategies, craft test plans, and drive quality through UI and backend validation in a hardware-integrated environment.

Responsibilities include manual and automated testing using Python, Playwright, and Selenium, plus collaboration with software, firmware, and product teams to improve testability. This role offers a competitive package in a dynamic, export-controlled setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, QA engineering, or test engineering roles, focusing on web apps and RESTful APIs.
• Experience validating feature-level behavior and cross-component workflows.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and test design techniques.
• Experience with UI and API test automation, including writing and maintaining automated tests (Python).
• Experience working in environments with hardware and software dependencies.
• Practical knowledge of Linux environments, Git workflows, and CI/CD concepts.
• Understanding of software development practices, defect investigation, and root cause analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, QA engineering, or test engineering roles, with a focus on web applications and RESTful APIs

The expected annual salary range for this role is

$114,330 — $170,980 USD
