Blue Origin is seeking an engineer to develop, operate, and maintain the XEEx test facilities for liquid rocket engines in Texas. You will craft test procedures, analyze data, and ensure facility health while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, project leadership, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment that advances human spaceflight.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in a testing environment or hands-on engineering role.
• Strong fundamentals in engineering and testing.
• Data analysis familiarity.
• Understanding of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
• Project management and leadership experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• U.S. citizenship or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop, construct, operate, and maintain test facilities for liquid rocket engines.
• Create and implement test procedures for high pressure gas and cryogenic systems.
• Review test data to assess facility health and performance.
• Specify and procure components; manage vendors and subcontractors.
• Plan facility maintenance and build new capabilities.
• Contribute to schedule, quality, cost, and safety management.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvements in safety and efficiency.
