Job summary

Blue Origin Engines seeks a dedicated avionics test engineer to develop plans, procedures, and hardware for liquid rocket engine ignition testing. You will drive qualification, analyze EMI data, and coordinate with labs to ensure safe, repeatable spaceflight testing across environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, aerospace engineering, physics, or a related field.
• 2+ years hardware development, integration, and/or testing experience.
• Practical and analytical understanding of analog and digital electronics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, complete, and report avionics development, qualification, and acceptance testing
• Decomposing requirements into test activities
• Performing tests or ensuring that Technicians are able to do so
• Analyzing Environmental/EMI data
• Use measurement and analysis to determine root causes for failures in avionics testing
• Identify and mitigate test execution risks
• Collaborate with internal and external labs for test execution
• Perform and work comfortably in an environmental and EMI lab environment
