Job summary

Visual Comfort & Co. is seeking a tester/engineer to qualify LED drivers, modules, fixtures and control modules, developing tests and documenting results. You will analyze test data, support QA and product development, and ensure compliance with internal and UL standards.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering, 3+ years of testing experience, and proficiency with oscilloscope, power analyzers, and data acquisition systems. This onsite position offers strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical testing or related field.
• Proficiency with test equipment and measurement tools.
• Ability to read schematics and understand circuit designs.
• Knowledge of lighting, LED lighting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and specifications for LED drivers/modules/fixtures.
• Conduct performance and reliability testing per plans.
• Document tests, test requests, and reports for QA and lab teams.
• Provide technical oversight to lab technicians performing electrical tests.
• Support new product development and VAVE projects.
