Job summary

Sunco Lighting, Inc. in Valencia, CA, is seeking a Validation Engineer II to develop, validate, and support lighting products from concept through production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, safety, and reliability, with emphasis on validation and testing.

The role requires hands-on hardware testing experience and the ability to manage validation programs, with standard on-site hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• 3–6 years of hardware product engineering, validation or reliability testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with lighting test equipment (integrating spheres, goniophotometers, thermal chambers, oscilloscopes) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop products that meet UL-certified safety standards and customer specifications.
• Manage projects with accurate forecasting of timelines, resources and deliverables.
• Perform electrical, thermal, photometric, mechanical and environmental tests to verify performance.
