Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Test Engineer to ensure quality and reliability of complex systems for a federal customer. You will bridge business requirements with technical solutions through the full testing lifecycle, from planning to production support, in fast-paced environments.

The role emphasizes data testing, API validation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support releases and continuous improvement of testing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of data or system testing in enterprise environments.
• Experience querying and validating large data sets; SQL experienced preferred.
• Exposure to modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
• Agile experience required; SAFe or similar frameworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute data testing strategies aligned to complex workflows and system integrations.
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and documentation based on detailed requirements.
• Perform end-to-end testing and manage defects, including test logging, validation, and results tracking.
• Collaborate with BAs, developers, and stakeholders to validate requirements and support releases.
• Validate data and integration outputs, including API testing across environments.
• Triage, reproduce, and resolve defects with client SMEs; provide production support as needed.
