Job summary

Lockheed Martin RMS – Owego is seeking a Test Engineer to support advanced mission processor systems. You will perform top-level and subassembly testing, certification, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure quality.

The role involves producing logs, ABLs, and quality notifications, with emphasis on documenting issues with STE. Candidate should be familiar with LRU/SRU testing, diagnostic methods, and quality procedures, and able to obtain a secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline required or equivalent experience with 2 years of professional experience; or related Masters degree with no experience.
  • Familiarity with testing LRUs/SRUs using various equipment such as environmental chambers and testers.
  • Experience evaluating/troubleshooting test failures using diagnostic methods and tools.
  • Must obtain a secret clearance.

THE WORK

As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in support of our product line. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing top-level and subassembly testing activities.
  • Conducting tester certification and calibration.
  • Troubleshooting test failures for production and field return assets.

Basic Qualifications
  • Familiarity with testing LRUs/SRUs using various equipment such as environmental chambers, testers, vibe equipment, etc.
  • Be experienced with evaluation/troubleshooting test failures using diagnostic methods and tools
  • Adherence to quality procedures within the Product Test organization
  • Obtain a secret clearance

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.

Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of digital/RF circuitry
  • Knowledge of circuitry equipment: Oscilloscope, digital multimeter, high frequency measurements, testing, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, perform root cause analysis down to component level
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work in a dynamic, team-based environment
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
