Job summary

Lockheed Martin in the United States is seeking a testing engineer to design and implement testing methods and equipment, plan labor and schedules, and provide test areas with parameters for sample testing.

You will compile data, propose changes to testing equipment and procedures, and be responsible for testing all customer samples and special tests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional experience.
  • Understanding of analog and digital electronics, test methodologies, schematics, and benchtop measurement systems (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies).
  • Demonstrate imaginative and practical problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and assemblers of varying skills.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education, and 5 years of professional experience.
  • understand technical principles, theories, and concepts of analog and digital electronics, test methodologies, schematics, and the use of common benchtop measurement systems such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
  • demonstrate imaginative and practical problem solving skills.
  • successfully work with general direction, show initiative and adaptability, establish and complete goals.
  • collaborate with engineers, technicians, and assemblers having a variety of skills and experience.
  • have or be able to obtain a security clearance at the secret level.
Desired Skills
  • experience using automated test systems such as 3070, Flying Probe, and CKT in-process testers, Teradyne functional testers, and environmental temperature and vibration screening equipment.
  • NI TestStand, LabWindows CVI, LabView.
  • embedded programming.
  • configuration management.
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $76700.00 - $142500.00
