Job summary
SimVentions is seeking a Test Engineer to join the SLBM team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) in Dahlgren, VA. This full-time, on-site role designs and maintains automated test scripts, develops detailed test plans and cases tied to requirements, and executes manual and automated testing across multiple levels while collaborating with developers and government customers.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of software/systems testing experience, proficiency in test
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional software/systems testing experience or equivalent education
- Experience running/writing automation scripts or code
- Comfortable reviewing C++ code
- Experience using Linux systems
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
- Write detailed test plans, test descriptions, and test cases tied directly to requirements
- Execute manual and automated testing (static, dynamic, integration, and system-level)
- Interface directly and professionally with government customers daily
