Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer for a full-time contract (12 months) in Palm Bay, Florida. You will set up and document hardware/software under test, procure equipment, and develop test procedures and diagrams.

The ideal candidate has LabVIEW, Python, and electronics testing experience, plus MIL-STD-810 and RF/SATCOM familiarity. The position offers an hourly pay range of $58–60 and benefits; eligible candidates must be able to work W-2.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 4+ years in relevant field. Graduate degree with 2+ years or 8+ years experience in lieu of degree.
• LabVIEW and Python development experience essential.
• Electronics testing background with MIL-STD-810 and RF/SATCOM knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and document hardware and software systems under test.
• Procure equipment and create documentation (drawing tree, parts list, interconnect diagrams).
• Execute test procedures and troubleshoot components, sub-assemblies, and systems.
• Review test data and generate performance metrics and system readiness reports.
• Support troubleshooting of test failures for DC-DC converters and update LabVIEW code to meet specs.

Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Test Engineer.

Position Type: Full-Time Contract, Possible Contract to hire Duration: 12 months Location: Palm Bay Florida

Job Description

• Responsible for the set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software systems under test
• Procure required equipment to support system build and create supporting documentation to include drawing tree, parts list, and interconnect diagrams
• Executing procedures for testing and troubleshooting components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and systems
• Completing test documentation, procedures and manufacturing build documents
• Review of test data for product
• Support Troubleshooting of test failures for DC-DC converters
• Improvements for test to meet data sheet
• Update LabVIEW code to meet test specifications
• Participate in GEMBA for feedback from test operators

Ideal Candidate will have

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
• Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• Labview / Python development experience
• Analyze and record test outcomes, maintaining thorough documentation that includes performance metrics and system readiness reports
• Electronics testing background - knowledge of test process flow and execution
• MIL-STD-810 test experience
• First Article Qualification testing
• Familiar with firewall, switch, router configurations, network architecture including subnetting
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzer)
• Experience with testing of RF / SATCOM communication circuits

Pay Range*:$58 to $60/per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
