Johnson Matthey Inc. in Taylor, MI is seeking a Test Cell Engineer I to analyze test cycles and aging protocols for diesel and gasoline platforms.

You will program software test cycles, design test cell automation, and conduct emissions evaluations, including aftertreatment components like DOC, SCR, DPF, and related systems. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS, ME or related field with 5 years of progressive related experience, including automotive testing and data analysis.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience.
• 5 years of experience in automotive and engine testing using Data Acquisition Systems (A&D) and analyzing engine aftertreatment test data.
• 2 years of experience in software programming, data management/automation, and aftertreatment test design and diagnostics.
• 1 year of experience applying aftertreatment chemistry principles for test design, data analysis, diagnostics and trouble shooting.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze standardized test cycles and aging protocols for diesel and gasoline platforms.
• Program and validate software test cycles and automate test cell processes.
• Perform emissions and aftertreatment system evaluations (DOC, SCR, DPF, CSF, DEC, ASC, GPF, TWC).
• Test and analyze aftertreatment components and system integration.
• Generate data reports and patient/training materials for customers.
