Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Service Representative to sell products and services to current and new clients, building relationships and identifying prospective customers. The role emphasizes developing and maintaining customer relationships, following up on leads, and contributing to marketing strategies for a defined territory.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; suggests products and services to meet those needs.
• Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves issues post-sale.
• Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements.
• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
• Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

The Test and Inspect Service Sales Representative will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Outside Sales Representatives may also recommend marketing strategies designed for a target market.
