Job summary

The Guthrie Theater seeks a Development Operations Manager to manage gift processing, Tessitura database integrity, and department administration. This full-time, exempt role partners with Finance and IT to ensure accurate reporting and donor stewardship across events, gifts, and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in accounting, finance, ITS, data entry or similar work.
• Applicable CRM database experience or a combination of equivalent experience and training.
• Knowledge of Tessitura preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Experience in nonprofit gift administration and financial reporting.
• Can collaborate or work independently to set priorities and manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Gift processing, recording, and acknowledgment of gifts and pledges in Tessitura.
• Support department reporting, deposits, audits, and accurate gift crediting.
• Maintain department materials (pledge forms, acknowledgments, entry forms).
• Collaborate to optimize database reports and train staff in Tessitura usage.
