Job summary

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in Washington, DC is seeking a Development Operations Manager to ensure the Development department runs smoothly by managing donor data, gifts, and Tessitura CRM. You will train staff, coordinate cross-departmental efforts, and implement processes to improve accuracy and efficiency with a focus on anti-racism and inclusive practices.

This role reports to the Director of Development and collaborates with fundraising leadership in a creative nonprofit environment,

Qualifications

• Experience with CRM software and databases (Tessitura preferred).
• Experience with nonprofit fundraising.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Gift processing, development database management, and maintaining donor records in Tessitura.
• Coordinate and improve development operations and reporting; support monthly close and audits.
• Provide training on Tessitura and data management across the organization; ensure data accuracy for campaigns and donor communications.
• Oversee mail, email, and invitation lists; collaborate with Marketing and other departments.
• Support budgeting and expense tracking for the Development department; manage staff training.
