Job summary

Auburn University is seeking a TES Service Support Tech to assist with the summer transition of residence halls on campus. This general labor role covers grounds keeping, cleaning, and other support tasks within the Property Management Services team.

Applicants must be 19+ by December 1, 2025, have a valid driver's license, and be willing to pass a background check. Prior grounds keeping or facilities experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in grounds keeping, facilities, and/or maintenance preferred but not required.
• Must be 19 years of age or older by December 1, 2025 for campus vehicle operations.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.

Property Management Services at Auburn University is excited to begin the search for a TES Service Support Tech! This is a general labor support opportunity for Property Management assisting with summer transition of residence halls.

About TES:

Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in‑house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:

• Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
• Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
• Assistance with special projects
• Seasonal work
• Emergencies
