Surventis is seeking a Technical Sales Representative in New Jersey to contact established and prospective customers for Chemetall surface treatment chemicals. You will deliver complete sales and service to maximize profitability in your territory and learn Chemetall product portfolios.

The role emphasizes territory planning, presentations, pricing negotiations, and maintaining strong customer relationships, with up to 50–60% travel and a valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering or Business (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of relatable experience in B2B/outside industrial sales (preferred).
• Ability to make sales presentations and follow up with written proposals and contracts.
• Strong organizational and sales planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Contact established and prospective customers in the assigned territory to sell Chemetall surface treatment chemicals.
• Plan a weekly itinerary of calls to cover the territory by industry, geography, and account potential.
• Provide pricing quotes and negotiate within established limits.
• Maintain CRM (Salesforce) with call reports and opportunity pipeline.
• Train customers on proper and safe use of Chemetall materials and report competitive activities.
