Job summary

Vermeer All Roads in Manassas is seeking a Field/Road Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair Vermeer and similar construction equipment at customer sites. You will work independently in the field, traveling daily and delivering safe, professional service with clear communication to customers and the Service team.

The role offers $28–$40 per hour with production bonuses, plus a sign-on bonus up to $5,000, comprehensive benefits, paid training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel daily to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment (field-based).
• Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulic, electrical, and hydrostatic systems.
• Recommend repairs and prepare accurate cost estimates (CDK a plus).
• Perform welding/fabrication as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed.
• Stay current with industry and technical advancements.
• Communicate with factory/OEM for technical support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Vermeer All Roads is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair Vermeer and similar construction equipment on location. In this role, you’ll operate autonomously in the field, delivering safe, timely, and professional service while maintaining clear communication with customers and the Service team.

Compensation & Schedule

• $28–$40/hour (based on experience)
• Production bonuses available based on efficiency
• Store hours: Mon–Fri, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
