Job summary

Cash-Wa Distributing seeks an Area Manager Trainee to support multiple area managers in the Greater Kearney area and to develop into an Area Manager role. The role focuses on growing sales with local customers and assisting Inside Sales and Front Counter teams.

The position requires frequent travel (about 75%) within and beyond the Kearney region. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 6 months of related experience recommended.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• 6 months of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales territory and customers to generate additional business.
• Sample products with customers and plan sales strategies and territory management.
• Conduct effective sales presentations to customers.
• Grow sales and profit margins to meet goals.
• Set up new customer accounts, coordinate with Credit Department and center staff.
• Ensure delivery and product satisfaction; provide high level service.
• Cover vacations and other locations as needed.
