Job summary

Cash-Wa Distributing is seeking an Area Manager Trainee to support at least two Area Managers in Western Nebraska with a path to becoming an Area Manager. The role includes exposure to multiple areas and travel coverage as needed to grow sales and assist customers in making their business more successful.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Business, Sales, Marketing or related field suggested.
• 6 months related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales territory and customers; sample products; plan general sales strategy and territory management.
• Grow sales and profit margins to meet goals.
• Set up new customer accounts; coordinate pricing and deliveries; follow up on orders.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with excellent service; may assist with deliveries in emergencies.
• Build additional business through product penetration with current customers.
• Monitor credit terms to minimize receivables problems.
• Track pricing trends to maintain competitive pricing.
• Cover vacations and travel as needed in the territory.
• Perform other duties and comply with policies.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Bachelor's degree preferred
