Job summary

Cash-Wa Distributing is seeking an Area Manager Trainee to support two Area Managers in the Greater Kearney area and potentially other regions as needed. The role focuses on growing sales and helping customers succeed, with substantial travel within Nebraska.

The candidate will divide time among working with local Area Managers, Inside Sales/Front Counter support, and occasionally covering remote Area Managers, often for a full week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred.
• 6 months of related experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 75% and cover other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales territory and customers to generate additional business.
• Plan sales strategy, time and territory management, and do presentations.
• Set up new customer accounts and coordinate deliveries with credit and operations.
• Provide exemplary customer service and resolve issues with internal teams.
• Cover vacations in assigned areas and other locations as needed.
