Job summary

United Abrasives, Inc. is seeking a driven, growth-focused sales representative to manage all sales and business development activities within Southern California.

You will join a world-class manufacturing team and develop relationships with end users and distributors, while traveling as needed to grow the territory. You’ll listen to customers, problem-solve, and demonstrate how our industrial products deliver tangible safety, performance, and cost benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of sales experience in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of welding, metal fabricating, woodworking, and power tools is helpful.
• Military background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-user sales through multiple distribution channels.
• Uncover new sales opportunities and convert them into customers.
• Demonstrate products to end users emphasizing the financial impact of improved performance, safety, and quality.
• Manage and consistently update sales leads to track progress.
• Effective management of end-users and distributors with high quality follow through ensuring territory growth objectives are achieved.
• Overnight travel required (access to transportation and a valid driver’s license required).
