Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global lift truck manufacturer, seeks an outside Sales Representative in the Grand Rapids area. Sell selected products within a defined territory, qualify prospects, generate leads, and contribute to local campaigns.

You will train locally and occasionally at the corporate headquarters, collaborating with multiple branches and teams to meet sales goals. A driver’s license and lift truck demo ability are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe operation of lift trucks for product demos.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a team and travel for sales activities.

Responsibilities

• Sell select products in a defined territory.
• Coordinate with team and assist other sales roles.
• Participate in corporate and local campaigns.
• Make sales calls to qualify prospects in person and by phone; generate leads.
• Attend training locally, in the field, and at the headquarters as needed.
• Collaborate with branch departments.
