Summit Business Group is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to grow a local book of business by selling supplemental insurance to small and medium-sized businesses. This outside-sales role covers your own territory and involves in-person meetings with owners and benefits managers.

You'll receive training, flexible scheduling, weekly draw pay with bonuses and commissions, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Already licensed in Health & Life general lines (or willing and able to obtain Health & Life producer license - licensing reimbursement offered)
• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of professional (post-high school) work experience.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain your own book of business by cultivating new relationships with local businesses
• Meet face-to-face with business owners and decision-makers to offer supplemental insurance products and services
• Call on new businesses, referrals, and existing clients who need to be serviced; perform presentations to groups of 50–100+ people when needed
• Set follow-up appointments, review client needs, and submit daily sales metrics and activity
• Develop relationships with local business owners and drive sales targets and quotas with your sales team manager
