Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions in Wichita, KS seeks a Territory Manager to grow and manage a customer portfolio shipping freight via LTL. You will qualify leads, uncover needs, present our service-based value, and manage accounts through a consultative sales process.

The role requires 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in LTL/logistics, and comfort with CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Travel and weekend hours may be necessary; compensation ranges from $66,000 to $78,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in the LTL, logistics, or transportation services.
• B2B sales experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Qualify 25+ inbound leads per week using structured discovery process.
• Conduct consultative discovery calls to understand customer shipping needs and requirements.
• Position value proposition (transit time, reliability, claims ratio) vs price-only competitors.
• Manage 50+ retained customer relationships with ongoing contact and value-added service.
• Use CRM daily to track activities, opportunities, and interactions.
• Coordinate with operations, customer service, and claims to resolve issues.
