Position: Territory Sales Manager - HVAC & Plumbing Parts & Equipment

Location: Kansas City, MO

About the Position:

The HVAC & Plumbing Parts & Equipment Territory Manager must be organized, thoughtful, and collaborative, working with a competitive internal team to grow the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting the parts needs of clients and working with colleagues to ensure overall success, measured by financial performance, customer satisfaction, and a positive work environment.

Education and Experience:

The candidate should possess an Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, have 2 to 4 years of relevant industry experience, and a thorough understanding of the HVAC supply business.

Skills:
  1. Ability to solve problems creatively and implement ideas quickly and effectively.
  2. Strong customer service skills to assist customers with product/part issues.
  3. Recommend appropriate parts for various situations.
  4. Focus on delivering results aligned with customer expectations.
  5. Exceed monthly and annual sales quotas.
Accountability:
  1. Ensure timely fulfillment of parts requests through effective communication with manufacturers, account managers, and clients.
  2. Handle questions and requests from multiple sources, prioritizing responses to maximize sales effectiveness.
  3. Source quality parts using competitive pricing strategies and negotiate prices to meet revenue targets.
  4. Assist in planning and executing promotional activities to grow the parts department.
