What you'll do

The Technical Account Specialist manages Diversey's businesses within their assigned territory. This role involves surveying, installing, maintaining, and repairing chemical dispensing platforms and leased dish machines at customer sites. The specialist will deliver the value proposition and meet contracted service level agreements for laundry, kitchen, and housekeeping applications, building and maintaining strong customer relationships. The position is field-based, remote, and utilizes emerging electronic technology for communication, reporting, and auditing.

What you're responsible for

• Ensure customers have an outstanding experience with the Diversey cleaning and sanitation program.
• Establish excellent relationships at all customer organization levels, including end users, supervisors, and managers.
• Adhere strictly to policies, procedures, and best practices outlined by the EHS department to ensure security.
• Install equipment following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Conduct routine visits and maintain existing customer equipment in optimal working condition.
• Train customers on safe equipment use, Safety Data Sheets, cleaning procedures, and product information.
• Monitor inventory levels, place purchasing orders, and ensure program compliance.
• Act as the voice of the customer by recapping focus areas, following up on issues, and capturing customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems.
• Manage inventory levels in company vehicles and storage units.
• Repair leased dish machines and equipment according to priorities and service agreements.
• Complete administrative duties such as timesheets, purchase order follow-ups, and documentation of equipment/parts consumption.
• Participate in paid annual and mandatory safety training programs.

What qualifications you must have

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Residency in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or Port Canaveral, FL.
• At least 1 year of field service experience or sales experience in cleaning solutions/equipment within hospitality or food service sectors.
• Availability for emergency support during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with computer applications such as Email, Excel, Word, Google Apps, and mobile apps.
• Valid US Driver's License with a good driving record and ability to drive long distances.
• Physical ability to move objects up to 40 lbs and perform precise work in confined spaces.
• Experience with power tools, plumbing, and electrical skills.
• Professional attitude, self-motivated, with high attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across functions to meet company goals.

What qualifications are a plus

• Experience with Salesforce (FSL).
