Job summary

Emery Jensen Distribution is seeking a Territory Manager to grow its customer base among Independent Hardware Retailers and Pro Dealers in a defined Maine territory, including Bangor and Augusta. You will prospect, activate retailers, and drive weekly warehouse orders, dropship programs, and promotional offerings to increase sales and profitability.

This field role requires travel, strong communication and negotiation skills, and building relationships with key decision makers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B sales experience preferred.
• Excellent listening and negotiating skills.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver annual sales and profit objectives by developing a strategic sales plan.
• Represent Emery Jensen professionally and ethically in all activities.
• Develop and foster strong business relationships with key decision makers to grow the business.
• Organize and prioritize weekly routes and calls to meet goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues promptly.
• Attend industry trade shows as needed.

5+ years B2B sales experience

Hardware sales experience

Excellent listening and negotiating

Excellent verbal and written commun.

Strategic thinking

Ability to manage multiple projects

Microsoft Office proficiency

Valid driver’s license
